Trepanning is the 3-piece garage outfit that I jam with... since about 1997. That's Neil Hewson (Neilius-Hewonus/Maximus) on vcx/bass, Kris Figgins on guitars/vcx and me on drums, occassional backup synth and off pitch backup vcx. We haven't played live since about 2010 but you never know when our next flurry will be.

Here's some overly squashed and noisy demo's I've weeded out. I confess to producing all of these on a Yamaha AW4416 not really knowing what I was doing.

A collection of old tracks that i'll progressively dust off and upload, warts and all. Most of them from around 1999-2002 when I was dabbling with electronica rock.

Here's a whole discs worth of new tunes arranged seamlessly... The core tracks are the instrumentals, supported by half a dozen other tracks, some with vocals, which are more rockier and alternative.

Perigee I-IV is my salute to Pink Floyd's "Echoes". These four tracks put together encapsulate many of my musical inspirations and string them all together into one big one. Big drums, syncopations, time shifts, complex hi-hat grooves, arpeggiated synth lines, solid bass. I had fun making this. All in all, an experiment in writing and producing ....

Mud Puppy's was a bunch of demo's I recorded in 2008. Actually most of the music was written about six years earlier, using arcane tools like FruityLoops, soft-synths and electric guitars all tracked into a hardware multi-track. Some time in 2007 I was looking for a late night project and was motivated to finish them. So I imported the songs into Logic Studio and recreate them using the demo as a guide. I remember thinking, thank freak that I synced up to a tempo track allowing me to replace all the drums using Battery, adding some crazy four armed drum lines all over the place. Then I chucked guitars, synth bass (eek), some lyrics and did cringe worthy vocals.

Now, vox is not really an area I want to pursue... So I'm on the lookout for somebody to collaborate with. If ya like this type of music and want to do something together, contact me for shizzle!

This set wasn't really mastered properly, just myself cranking up VintageWarmer as opposed to a professional doing it. As compared to the Intergalactic Set which was a pro-master... much smoother. Enjoys!
